An interest group was formed in the fall of 2005 with the determination of expanding Greek life at the University of New Haven. There were three potential sororities that these wonderful women were presented with, however there was only one sorority that stood out, and that sorority was Delta Phi Epsilon.
An idea of Greek expansion among three girls quickly grew to a colony of twenty-five amazing women, and has flourished into a chapter of strong, independent women.
Delta Phi Epsilon was officially colonized as Colony Xi on March 3rd, 2007.
Once colonized, we progressed through a long and fulfilling process to charter here at the University. We officially became the Gamma Epsilon Chapter on May 12th, 2007.
Twenty-five goal-oriented, studious, caring women formed the sisterhood of Delta Phi Epsilon here at the University of New Haven and instantly raised the standard for Greek life, community relations, and sisterhood.
